The Planer FQCG200 Liquid Level Gauge, represents the culmination of many years of experience in the design and manufacture of electronic instrumentation to monitor liquid levels. The FQCG200 incorporates previously tried and tested electronic circuitry in order to maintain the reliability of performance established in earlier models but has been modified for increasingly harsh operating environments. The housing of the gauge head has been upgraded and sealed to P67 and the meter, push button and LED have all been recessed under a robust, flush fitting transparent cover in order to minimise potential damage in the field.

The FQCG200 consists of a lightweight, compact electronic gauge head permanently attached to a stainless steel probe of length suited to the depth of liquid to be measured, The probe, which is inserted vertically, has a capacitance which increases linearly with the depth to which it is immersed in liquid.

The probe is inserted vertically into the vessel and an easy to read analogue meter, mounted on the front face of the

level gauge head, displays directly, at the push of a button, the height of liquid in the vessel.

The gauge is adjusted so that the meter reads 0% when the vessel is empty and 100% when the vessel is full.

A 'vessel fitting' accessory can be supplied to enable the FQCG200 Level Gauge to be installed into a pressured vessel. The FQCG200 and vessel fitting have been pressure tested to 1000 psi.
